MAY 6, 2019
This would be my first time to ride a big ship although I’ve taken a short lake, river cruises, and channel crossings before. This would be the biggest ship so far that I would experience riding on. I was very excited. I shunned away from boats and cruises in the past for fear of getting migraine attacks and sea sickness but on this day I just knew that the water would be calm and there wouldn’t be any headaches. It would just be a happy day.
We were impressed at how big, modern, clean, the departure area was.

Better than our airport
I saw a continuous loading of trucks and container vans. I always associate the presence of transport trucks and vans with the robustness of a city. More movement, more trade, more business, good economy. Finland is one rich country.
I was already on board but I didn’t feel the ship swaying. Ang laki nya kasi.

My photographer told me to stand here so my background would be the lady at the entrance. Para daw mukha talagang nasa abroad.
There’s a mini department store inside the ship on the 7th level. We explored to make usyoso.
Para ba kaming nasa abroad? Yes, please listen to the announcement.
A—“Ano daw?”
