Oyen and I came from my mother in law’s birthday dinner that’s why we almost didn’t make it to the Philippine Fashion Week’s Finale show featuring Amir Sali on the second floor of Discovery Primea condominium in Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
The gate opened at 9:30 and the show started at 10 pm. Yen and I arrived at 10:20 pm. We missed our front row seats but we arrived about 10 minutes before the actual catwalk started.
Amir’s inspiration for this Spring/Summer 2019 collection was the Kargados de Oro.
It’s all about gold.
The models walked very fast I missed to see the details on the clothes.
After the show the models lined up at the corridor so that people could take a closer look at the dresses.
Models don’t have an inch of fat. If you have this slim figure then you can do justice to this Amir Sali’s creation. If I wear this ensemble I would look like a toad.
Amir’s finale number was worn by beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo, first runner-up in the 2018 Miss International.
