Hotel Valencia’s room rate included breakfast for two. Edmund had an earlier breakfast because he was going to play golf. He told me “walang lasa”. That sealed the deal for me. “I am not going to have breakfast here”.
He left at past 8 am to play golf at the Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill, about 30 minutes drive from San Jose. with Joey Maniquiz, his college best friend and UST basketball team mate whom he hasn’t seen for thirty plus years. Joey works for Fujitsu and lives in San Jose with his wife.
After Edmund left, I went back to bed and slept for two more hours. By 12:25 pm, I was out the door. We tried to request for a late check-out but the hotel was firm, up to 12:30 only. I was hoping they would grant us a half hour extension but to no avail.
Edmund and I liked our room a lot and the hotel’s location is perfect. The room rate is mura, except for the strictly no late check-out policy, we would like to stay here again in the future, with Nyke and Oyen. They would love this hotel’s location.
I had some difficulty pushing my maleta. Oops bawal pa sa akin mag-effort according to my medical guideline. So dahan-dahan lang.
I left my luggage at the bellman on the street level.
While I was standing there trying to decide where to eat, which way to go, this lady complimented my blouse. It’s so nice daw. She particularly liked the intricate embroidery pattern. It’s from British India in Manila.
It’s so nice out there, sunny but the breeze was cold.
I crossed the street and entered Anthropologie. Their store displays are so nice to look at.
Their fashion wearable are either from China or India.

Their soaps smelled like fruits. I don’t know if I want to smell like a kiwi after taking a bath. “Amoy langka ka”.
Made in USA milk glass. So heavy to lift. Uuhawin ka talaga pagbuhat nito.
I’ve always wanted to buy some of these made in India cabinet knobs but I always forget to count the number of my kitchen drawers.
Deadly spoon. Sobrang matulis, pagnag-away kayo habang kumakain, tusukin mo na lang sya.
Most of their merchandise are made in China, some are from India, a few are from America.
I bought this sweater. My sweaters were in the maleta and it’s too much hassle if I would open it on the side walk.
Sarap tumunganga dito.
