I went to Morong Rizal and on my way back I visited Antipolo Cathedral also known as Immaculate Conception Parish.

This is a popular pilgrimage site. Thousands flock here on foot every Holy Wednesday and stay up to the following morning on the church grounds. They walk dozens of kilometers to climb to Antipolo Cathedral as a way of personal penitence, and panata.
I also offered several masses and also for the speedy recovery of Sherwin Yao. He is the older brother of my son-in-law. On March 5 he got into a serious accident while biking in Quezon Province. He was going downhill on a mountain bike when he collided head-on with an oncoming tricycle. His right leg took the heaviest toll. There was no big hospital in Quezon who could attend to something serious like that. Oyen contacted a helicopter to lift Sherwin from Quezon but there were many forms to fill up, file, and permits to get before they could fly. The fastest they could come was the next day. One way charge was P 560,000. I am not sure if picking up the patient and bringing him to the hospital in Manila is counted as two trips.

The Virgin Mary suspended above the altar is also known as the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. I call on her too when we are traveling.
I was standing near the door and had no intention to sit down. One of the ladies called my attention about my baseball hat. Bawal daw may sombrero. The Holy Mass was about to end so I decided to just step out.
I said a little prayer then went out.
