My short vacay (gaya na rin ako sa mga millenials, shortened words) in Las Vegas is never complete without antiques shopping. My husband knows my routine already.
He dropped me off at the antiques mall then he proceeded to the Las Vegas South Premium Outlet which was only 5-10 minutes away. The mall was closing in 45 minutes but I told Edmund to come back for me in 1.5 hours to give him more time to shop for clothes. The female vendors accompanied me while I waited for Edmund. They said it’s generally safe except that sometimes when it gets dark, the homeless people come and ask for a dollar. Apparently there’s a water tunnel just past Subway and dozens of homeless live there. Several died when there was an unexpected heavy downpour. They told me I would be surprised that some of these people are professionals. Some were teachers who gave up living normally like everyone else because they wanted a life free of norms, rules, mortgages, responsibilities. etc. They just gave up on what their careers were before. They told me there was a homeless guy who was panhandling at McDonalds then he walked to the parking lot and drove off in a Ferrari.
I reached Edmund by phone and in half hour he came to pick me up. He didn’t show any surprise with the big boxes of china. Sanay na sya. He asked me where we would go next. Eh pasyal tayo sa The Strip. Remember, our new goal is to visit all the nice hotels. “Pumunta tayo dun sa Viagra”. “Saang viagra? wala namang Viagra, baka Viadra”. I Googled Viadra, Vdara Hotel and Spa came out. We missed the parking entrance and we ended up inAria instead. And where else, but in Starbucks. We sat down for a while while enjoying watching the super sexy ladies with exposed assets and super muscular tattooed incredible hulks. In Las Vegas, people wear the flimsiest clothing, super fabulous gowns, bikinis, lingerie, half-shorts, t-backs under a see-through robe, and all sorts of unimaginable fashion. We saw a parade of young women all wearing swim suits.
From Aria, we crossed over to Vdara. The view of Aria from Vdara was amazing.
Vdara doesn’t have a casino. It’s nice and quiet. We stayed at the lobby for about half an hour and again, we watched the people go by. Some looked like they were going to an event, some looked like they came from the beach.
Edmund said he remembered this building. This was where he bought coffee every morning when we were checked in at the Bellagio in December of 2017. We walked to Bellagio. We made gaya-gaya the hundreds of tourists taking photos at the Japanese garden display.
We haven’t had dinner although it was late. Not sure of what to eat, we decided to try the restaurant fronting the display.
I’ve been wearing this off-shoulder dress frequently because I have difficulty wesring tight-necked clothes. My right arm and shoulder hurt terribly when I bend or stretch and move, while wearing clothes with sleeves. This white dress has elastic neckline, I could easily slip in and outwithout hurting my arm and shoulder too much.
While walking back to Aria where we parked our car, we saw a woman looking so fabulous in a black lace see-through mini skirt dress. She kept on pulling down the hem but the lace was transparent. We could see her bra and t-back. When I told my husband one time that I would buy a bikini to wear while walking down the strip, he said the hotels’ occupancy rates might drop. If you have the goods to back it up, Vegas is the perfect place to flaunt them.
