The five golf bags were not on the conveyor belt upon our arrival in Edinburgh. They were left behind in London. British Airways gave us a claim stub and promised to deliver the bags directly to our hotel here in Edinburgh that same evening or latest would be the next morning. The guys heaved a sigh of relief. Syempre worried dahil ayaw mawala ang golf sets nila.
Edmund hired another van to ferry us from the airport to our hotel in the city. I hope this time this is more reliable and we fit.
While waiting for our pick up, I bought a mango pineapple fruit smoothie for 1.5 pounds. I have a two pound coin na lumang-luma na I found in my bathroom. O eto nagamit ko pa, meron pang sukli na 50 pence.
The driver named Russel called Edmund. He was waiting outside in the parking area. We pushed our carts eh naku ang ginaw. I was only wearing sandals and a manipis na sweater. We all fit in the van but only because there were no golf bags, otherwise impossible. The driver is named Russel and medyo makulit. He was slow in figuring out how to stack the maletas at the back of his van and yet he didn’t want us to help him. He told us too many cooks spoiled the broth. O sige bahala sya. Nagkakanglalaglag na yung mga bags eh pinipilit pa rin isara yung pinto, eh hindi nga kasya! After about 15 minutes at last he figured it out.
