Ayaw ng Pepe at Dede ko sa Federalismo. - Oh My Buhay

Ayaw ng Pepe at Dede ko sa Federalismo.

I was sick and still feel sick. Watching the news last night about Mocha Uson’s latest stunt made me even sicker. Did you guys feel stupid while watching that video? Those people are paid salaries and enjoy perks from taxpayers’ money, what are they doing? Are they worth our hard-earned money? I don’t need anyone to point to me where my dede and pepe are. I know exactly where they are.

That is one hell of a sick video. Bastusan na dito sa Pilipinas. Paging Secretary Andanar!

NO TO FEDERALISM!! NO TO FEDERALISM!! NO TO FEDERALISM!!

This country’s problem is not the form of government. This country’s problem is the way people think, act, and what they do to destroy this country and their fellow men. Ang tao dito puro self serving. Wala kayong tunay na malasakit sa kapwa.

  1. hi miss annie. no offense meant, but it’s easy for you to say no to federalism when you’re living in the metro. it’s easy for you to say that when you belong to an elite class. i do not like mocha and how they tried to educate federalism to filipinos. it’s clearly a wrong move. i hope they educated more people about federalism the right way. because for us, living in the province, federalism is the only way to improve our place. it is the only way that we progress. but if we don’t push this, provinces will stay poor as they are since most of our taxes go to imperial manila and we are left with no choice, but makisiksik sa masikip na metro in search for greener pastures.

    1. Hi Alex,
Thanks for your message. I know what you are saying and I understand where it’s coming from. The proposition that Federalism will remove the control from the national government and give the local governments greater control of their resources will work only if the local and provincial governments WILL, MUST, SHOULD, do what they are supposed to do—- spend every centavo ONLY for the betterment of their residents so that the lives of those living in the provinces will also flourish. I fully agree that if and when the provinces are progressive no need for our kababayans to flood Manila. The danger is there will be no control. Local and provincial governments will operate on their own and they can have their own kingdom. The real danger is in the execution and application. We all know that we don’t have self-control when it comes to handling the people’s money. My saying no to Federalism has nothing to do with who I am and where I reside. I am thinking more for all of us, Filipinos.

      1. True. I came from province but at this moment I don’t think federalism is the solution. Bumalik tayo sa ground zero whatever how they sugar coat the progress they want to project. Lalo naghirap ang Pilipinas sa gobyerno ngayon. Just my opinion, a local employee here.
