Baguio looks dirty - Oh My Buhay

I didn’t feel the presence of an organized and dedicated local government in Baguio that protects their city from further denudation and filth. The town looks dirty.

Baguio's hillside houses

Soon, this would no longer be the City of Pines. Mountains have been stripped off of trees and replaced with houses. We cannot stop people from building homes on their private properties but at the least the government must have strict rules on setbacks, land to building ratio.
Replacement and replanting of pine trees. One mature pine tree must be replaced with 10 new ones. It should not be a one to one ratio.
There must also be strict implementation of building codes including height restrictions.

Tiangge stall rental is a cash cow for local government and officials.

Abandoned, condemned and dilapidated buildings are unsafe.
