I don’t remember eating at Bahay Kawayan in Taytay before, maybe once, a dozen or so years ago. Edmund has been here a couple of times with his friends after golf from Eastridge. Sometimes parang I want to try their food but coming from Quezon City, medyo it’s a hassle.
Last tuesday, I took advantage of the fact that I was already in Cainta which is a 5 minute drive to the next Rizal town, Taytay, where Bahay Kawayan is.

Malou and I were there around 1:30 pm and there were still lots of customers kaya medyo noisy.

Tinadtad na mangga at alamang

Inihaw na pusit which we couldn’t finish.
I like the small pusit variety better than the big ones like this. Eto matigas, mahirap kainin.

I have seen better looking shrimps before.
