Batanes enjoys endless coastline. One side faces the Pacific Ocean, the other side is the West Philippine Sea.
In between are verdant rolling hills. With only about 7,000 inhabitants, Batanes remains one of nature’s favorite spots. No pollution, no global warming, no usok from vehicles.
I am just so glad my daughter took the initiative of bringing us all here.
I could really feel the difference in my breathing. Dito ay pure na pure ang hangin.
Today’s a bit overcast. It’s windy and so presko, a perfect day to explore Batan Island in Basco.
So far, what we’re seeing are simple surroundings, pure and unadulterated nature.
Today’s our first day here. It’s just been several hours since we’ve landed and yet I love this place already.
Hello Ms Annie! The place is so lovely. But your family is lovelier! And your husband was so funny about the ‘bato’ 🙂 that it can remove not only dead skin but also wrinkles! Have a great time!
Batanes is indeed lovely. If you’re into nature-tripping this is the place to be. Thanks Marya.
So glad to see you enjoyed your visit to our home islands. Somehow, you still found some nice and goodness considering that so much changes has taken place here within the last 20 years. Bless your heart and those who were with you. By the way, our whole province has a fluctuating population of between 15,000 and 18,000 depending on the weeks of the year… papuuncleness
It’s a beautiful and serene place. I can’t wait to go back.
