There was one big whole strawberry cake in front of Bencab when I bumped into him at his museum. He was eating a slice at the veranda of Cafe Sabel. What a perfect spot to eat cake!
I asked him if it was his birthday. He said no.
He asked me about my opinion regarding the Mitsubishi Montero’s alleged sudden acceleration.
Bencab is probably the hottest and most sought after Philippine artist today. His Sabel series fetched 40 million pesos at the Leon Gallery auction a few months ago.
please tell us what you think about the Montero Sudden end-of-life acceleration. It “was” supposed to be my next vehicle.
