We were given a so-called light cocktails welcome lunch reception at the Mercure Hotel upon check-in. We were told that it’s just going to be a light lunch because we’re going to have a heavy dinner in a chateau afterwards.
I tell you, I’ve been to countless cocktails all over the world. In five star hotels and function rooms, restaurants, palaces. The one in Mercure Bordeaux is so far the best that I have ever had. This is in terms of quality of taste.
With the amount of food I stuffed in my stomach, it became a heavy lunch for me. Oh ang sarap talaga.
It’s not the quantity. They just served us simple choices but DELICIOUS.
I have never seen a baby asparagus that looks like this. Grabe sa sarap talaga. It’s so fresh.
I got stuck eating this two— tuna with green olives and spices and the baby asaparagus with some light whipped creme cheese.
Medyo nahiya lang ako ng konti pero sisip-sipin ko sana lahat ito.
The lighter red is strawberry shake, the darker one is raspberry. The strawberry is very sweet, the raspberry naman is asim. I mixed them in equal parts, dropped some tube ice and oh my, delicious.
I was already bundat from the asparagus and tuna before I saw this mango and salami skewer.
This tiny ham and cheese sandwiches smelled so good. Busog na ako pero, sige na nga tikman ko na rin. Ay sarap, penge pa isa. And isa pa. Sarap talaga.
I am done, sobrang busog na.
Oyen——- “Mom, did you taste that shrimps?”
Omb——– “Sige nga, my God it’s so good. Get pa anak”.
The grilled shrimps skewer was perfectly seasoned and cooked.
