August 26, 2013 Monday
We were back in Manila by 7 pm. We haven’t had birthday noodles today. We must, because it’s tradition— for long life. Edmund has to live long enough to see his grandchildren grow, so he could teach them how to play good basketball and golf.
(Nyke and Oyen are still single, kaya matagal pa bago kami magka-apo).
Edmund suggested going to Gloria Maris in Greenhills. It’s a little bit far so we just went to North Park in Home Depot, just to have noodles.
Dyos ko, kakain na naman kami. All of us are actually still full but we have to eat noodles.
There’s an upgraded version of Plants and Zombies, and my children have been playing with this more difficult level.
North Park has no hacao kaya Oyen ordered na lang steamed shrimp dumpling. I didn’t taste it.
Here comes the noodles. It looks like a bird’s nest.
For dessert, Edmund and I each had a bowl of almond with lychee.
North Park’s security guard speaks both English and Chinese. When I entered, he greeted me “Ni haw”. When I went out, he said “Have nice night”.
Great family! Regards to sir Edmund. Though I did not have the chance to know him. I know he is a good and fine man, mam Annie.
Hi Pinggoy, thank you for your greetings.
One of this days, let’s eat noodles in my office.
