We didn’t have food at home. We only have one maid left and I didn’t want to burden her with house work. Instead of asking her to cook, we went out to grab dinner at Hai Chix and Steaks, the one behind Metro Dorm and Home Depot in Julia Vargas, Pasig City.
To cap the night, we went to Starbuck’s. pati ako naki-order rin. I had mocca frap. My daughter couldn’t remember when I told her that she was the one who introduced me to mocca frap when she was still in college.
One time I visited her, we went to Starbuck’s and she ordered it for me. I got hooked kasi ang sarap.
But after several times of “shall I buy, shall I buy again?” I was able to controll my craving. Siguro after 5 or 7 times, I stopped buying. It’s been several years that I haven’t bought a single cup.
Buti na lang I didn’t like the taste of this mocca frap, kung hindi, baka ma-addict na naman ako.
