I don’t know why anyone would engage in disseminating fake information or fake news either in social media or thru other means. Are so-called bloggers being paid good money to do this? Inventing stories that malign individuals, persons, entities, is not what blogging is all about. Posting stories that are not true and has a clear intention to inflict harm (whether physical, emotional, psychological) on a person/ persons or company or cause grave effect to destroy their good reputation and which endangers the safety and security of the individuals is a serious crime.
Social media makes it so easy for ill-willed individuals to invent stories that destroy other people’s reputation. There’s no cost to them. They can use fake names in posting fake news, fake articles, fake stories.
This kind of act is not a petty crime. This must be considered a serious crime and punishable by a stiff fine.
To those who have done this in the past, for your own sake don’t do it again. You don’t want others to invent damaging stories about you and your whole family too. What you can do to them, they can do to you too, even more. Please remember that. #thegoldenrule
When someone is mad at you or is envious and want to bring you down, they can post fake stories to try to ruin you and your family. They clearly have a miserable life that’s why they are looking for company. They want others to be as miserable as they are. But there is vengeance waiting for people who do this. May not be here on earth, because people who are engaged in this sort of crime are not humans. They are evil. There is a place reserved for them in hell.
