When Ron found out that I like Hot N Juicy Crawfish, he brought me to Boiling Crab, a restaurant similar to Crab Shack, and Hot N Juicy. Ron’s wife is white American and he said she’s not fond of seafood that’s why he chose not to bring her along to our dinner.
There were more Asian customers when we went and I think half were Filipinos.
Ron already knew what he likes. Halatang suki sya dito.
Eat with your hands, of course, there’s no way you could eat a crab with spoon and fork.
People need an outlet for their frustrations, pent up anger, vent out problems, express emotions, hidden creativity. Boiling Crab’s walls serve that purpose.
Ron wanted to order dungeness crabs but when the pretty French-Indonesian waitress told us the smallest was 3 lbs @ $24 / pound, ooops atras kaming dalawa. Wag na, sobrang mahal. He just ordered mixed shrimps and crawfish with lemon butter spice.
Ron ordered fried catfish. I ate one piece, it was good too.
I ordered fried oysters $11. Ang liit naman pala. I want to go back to Boiling Crab again just for this tiny oysters but I will have two of these. That’s just what I am going to eat.
Ron has a rainbow-colored rags to riches life story which he agreed to share with Oh my buhay readers. I need pen and paper to make sure that I get all the details however I don’t know how to effectively tell the story without including the incriminating ones. Mas marami ang secret.
