From La Mirapili I went inside Conti’s Bakeshop and Restaurant to buy food for Oyen.
I just wanted a small slice of cake or pastry but when I saw their freezer with cooked meals / dishes. I grabbed several trays, lengua estofado, beef caldereta, callos (for me), laing and roast beef. Perfect combination with Antonia’s tinolang manok.
I didn’t check the prices I just grabbed the trays because my driver was already waiting on the driveway.
When the cashier said two thousand four hundred… it was like OMG ang mahal naman pala nito.
