November 1, 2015 Sunday
The buffet breakfast is not included in the room rate. It’s Euro 21 per person.
He didn’t want me to take his picture. Mukha daw syang bagong gising. Mas gwapo sya without the mask.
Our schedule after breakfast was to walk to the Basilica but on our way, I saw the River ride bus. They still have two seats vacant and the bus was leaving in a few minutes. The next ride would be at 1 pm. Instead of going to church first then river ride next, we switched the schedule. I bought two tickets for the River ride although my daughter told me not to take her dad to this ride because it was boring.
This is a repeat tour for me. I am here as Edmund’s tour guide.
The whole tour takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. There’s a half-hour drive by tour around the city.
After that splash, everything else was boring. I fell asleep. I had nothing else to do. It was so glary, my sunglasses were not dark enough to protect my eyes from the sun. I covered my head with a shawl.
My daughter was right. I should not have brought Edmund to the river ride. He found it so boring.
We’re back on that street. The Basilica is on the background.
A store selling Hungarian-made clothes and souvenirs has two of their mannequins stand on the sidewalk.
I am proud of this picture. It came out very nice because I was the photographer.
One of the most photographed statue in the world.
There’s a Starbucks across the church. We went first to Starbucks to have a drink after that long and boring river ride.
Coco powder adds more flavor to hot choco.
After resting at Starbucks, we visited the St. Stephen’s Basilica, a Roman Catholic church which is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary. There was no on-going Holy Mass. It was quiet which was perfect for praying.
This was Edmund’s first time at the basilica, I didn’t know if he remembered to make a wish.
