May 24, 2013 Pamukkale, Denizil Province, Turkey
From the leather factory in Ephesus, we drove for almost two hours past hills, towns, and valleys. We had no idea where we were going until the magnificent view of a white mountain unfolded before our eyes.
This mountain place is called Pamukkale or Cotton Castle because of its glistening white color created by calcium carbonate deposits from the thermal waters that tumbled down the mountain over ten thousand years, forming a myriad of pools of hot natural spring water.
It’s on a ridge 200 meters high overlooking the town.
Until now I still get nightmares, nadausdos daw si Nyke dito.
The place is truly spectacular. I don’t think there’s another one like this. Meron siguro pero snow. Eto hindi, calcium deposits. Parang pinastahan yung bundok.
Hot natural spring water, pang-alis ng rayuma.
Maraming mga tourists na naliligo. Ako rin sana. Had I been informed by Ali beforehand, nagsuot din ako ng bikini. Baka gumuho yung bundok.
Feet R Us
This was beyond my imagination. It’s magical and romantic. Thank you again Lord.
