Madeline came by today and brought a lot of food for lunch and merienda. We had tortillas topped with cheese, jalapeno, minced black olives, fresh diced tomatoes, sour cream and ground turkey meat. Lyn also baked one whole brie and topped it with cranberries, perfect with wheat crackers. Brie is naturally salty and the cranberry toned down its saltiness and balanced the taste.
