It was raining in Edinburgh in the morning of April 10 Monday. Hard to enjoy walks. Cold, wind and rain when combined equals sheer exasperation.
We’re proceeding to St. Andrews at noon and since it would be one and a half hours drive, a hearty brunch before we leave would be good. We didn’t want to walk far in the rain so we chose a restaurant closest to the hotel: Caffe Piccolo
There were no other customers when we walked in.
According to Caffe Piccolo’s menu, this is the traditional Scottish Breakfast
Breakfast salad for the diet conscious
I paid 16.60. Our brunch at this cafe was not bad but it was not great either.
