The rooms rates included buffet breakfasts. I had no appetite this morning. To begin with I was still full from our heavy dinner last night of chicken inasal at BBQ Park restaurant. And I was throwing tantrums early morning because of the slow internet connection so I asked Edmund to go ahead and have breakfast. I would just follow. I was not in the mood to eat here. I wanted to get out of Richmonde Hotel because I was so frustrated with their wi-fi connection. Their employees only had the standard answers and offered no real solution. Puro “okay naman’ ang alam isagot. Masisigawan ko lang sila.
Edmund came back to the room at 9:20 am. Although I was not in the mood to eat, I went down to the cafe to eat.
Sinungitan ko rin yung receptionist at the restaurant’s entrance. She saw that there was only one person, me, and she had also verified her list that it was breakfast for two people and she also mentioned that my husband already had breakfast, yet she was still asking me how many we were.
And asked if I was joining a table. Maybe there was nothing wrong with her, I was just in a terribly bad mood because of the slow and weak wi-fi connection.
I skipped my usual favorites like bacon and rice. The problem with trying to cut down on food is I haven’t even left the table and I am already feeling hungry.
