Edmund, Oyen and I had lunch at Circles in Shangrila Hotel last Wednesday, January 28, upon the invitation of Jackie and her assistants. I was hesitant to go because I didn’t want to have buffet, kasi nga I would end up eating a lot but we were only invited, we’re not the hosts. They were the ones who chose the restaurant.
I no longer enjoy going to buffets. I end up stuffing myself like there’s no more tomorrow. Even if I’ve eaten a kilo of food, I would still go back to the buffet table to try the other dishes. Soup, salad, meat, noodles, seafood, dimsum, rice, pasta, halo-halo, fruits x lunch = square body, shrinking boobs, protruding belly and tabachuychuy face. That’s it. No more buffets for me please.
Circles need some updated table settings.
This was all I wanted to eat, Papadum from the Indian food section.
They only have soy chicken, I was looking for Hainan chicken rice.
I didn’t touch the steak unlike Oyen and Edmund.
I wasn’t sure if Edmund finished this meat plate.
I was busog na but I still went back to get tempura and grapes. They’re not even terno.
I saw Oyen’s pasta, natakaw naman ako. Gaya-gaya, I had a bowl prepared too. I put some asparagus and prawsns.
I thought the chocolate mousse was mocha ice cream.
I went back twice to the Halo-halo bar. Ube, mongo, nata de coco, langka, gulaman, and lots of milk.
This is the consequence when photos are taken after eating lunch buffet. WIDE ANGLE!
