While waiting for my take-out order from Fire Lake Grill, I crossed-over to Buon Giorno Caffe and Bistro / Italian restaurant. I looked at their menu and didn’t find anything that excited me.
I was lazy to go our and look for another restaurant plus I was going back to Fire Lake to pick up the salad so I just stayed there at Buon Giorno. The tables inside were getting filled-up so I opted for a table in their veranda.
The waiter gave me bread with balsamic dip. I asked for butter. I don’t like balsamic vinegar for my bread.
This was my second time here and the first time didn’t make a good impression. My daughter and I didn’t like the food.
To give them the benefit of the doubt, I asked the waiter what’s popular there.
He said Buon Giorno salad. With some hesitation, I ordered it.
It had fruits- apples, oranges and grapes, plus cucumber tomatoes, and lettuce.
There’ one lamok na sobrang daring. Dumadapo sa kutsara ko while I was eating the cream of broccoli soup.
The waiter placed a candle under the table to protect my legs from predatory mosquitoes.
I paid P430.27 + tip.
I see why many Filipino travelers come to Buon Giorno. The ambience is very good, the service is also very good. Their prices are reasonable. The food is good but not great.
Hi, Miss Annie! There’s a branch of Buon Giorno in Rockwell Business Center in Ortigas Ave. beside Medical City. We go there if only for their shrimp bisque soup, the best! 🙂
Hi Olivia,
will try their shrimp bisque soup.
