A friend of mine has been wanting to buy a Ford Ranger for the past, believe me, 5 years. Even before we opened Makati Ford in Pasong Tamo Avenue. Eh ayaw gumastos sa brand-new, gusto nya second hand lang daw. So she bought a second hand van. Then after several months, she texted me again inquiring about the Ford Ranger. Hay naku, I am not pressuring you. But if you can afford it, just go, do it. How old are you? 65+ And how many more brand new vehicles would you be able to enjoy in the remaining years of your life, say 20 years, 4 or 5 cars? Don’t think about it too much, just enjoy the vehicle.
A vehicle is like a new member of your family. It’s like a true friend or partner who is always there for you, a regular companion.
Just enjoy each other’s company.
My vehicle is witness to my moods and extreme emotions. It has heard or seen me laugh, giggle, scream, shout, yell, howl, cry inconsolably. I am sure if only it could talk, it would offer me words of wisdom and try to console me when I look weary and dreadful.
