We checked out of Grand Californian Hotel at 11 am. Our request to stay in the room until 12 noon (an hour extension) was turned-down. I don’t like this hotel. Not worth the stiff price tag especially during the holiday season. I paid triple their normal rate. I didn’t feel special at all.
My adult babies were leaving Disneyland with a heavy heart. Bitin daw.
Because of our individual schedules and different places of residence, having another holiday with all four of us together will have to wait.
We wanted to eat in a more formal Chinese restaurant but we didn’t have the luxury of time. We all agreed to eat at a restaurant that’s along the way, to our next destination. Edmund couldn’t remember the exact name of the steak house he went to the night before. He said something with Smith. My daughter and I jumped “Smith & Wollensky?” But there’s no Smith & Wollensky in Anaheim.
We spotted Bubba Gump on the other side of the Katella road beside the steak house where Edmund had dinner with his friends the night before. It’s not Smith. It’s McCormick & Schmick’s Grille. My God it’s so hard naman to pronounce, spell and remember the name of this resto. I can’t blame Mr. Yee.

Oyen said it’s been a long time since she last dined at Bubba Gump. She was still in New York daw. Ha? Ang tagal na nun.
Edmund and I both ordered a small bowl of clam chowder, good but not very good. $5.79 ++ /bowl

Accidental Fish and Shrimp $19.69
I should’ve ordered more shrimps than fish.
I didn’t ask if husband liked his food Grilled Seafood Trio ($24.49++). He finished it so I guess he was pleased.
Oyen’s Shrimps New Orleans $18.29 ++
Boat Trash Maine Lobster $26.99 ++ I know restaurants come up with artistic and innovative names for their dishes, but why would I pay over thirty dollars for a boat trash? Weird name.
