After attending the 6:30 pm mass, Edmund suggested that we go to the newly opened C restaurant at Citigolf near Home Depot in Julia Vargas.
We were not able to get a table because the small place was full. The wait spilled over to the outside of the small building.
My son said he’s in the mood for Hai Chix & Steaks. It was convenient because from Citigolf, it’s just next door so to speak.
We are creatures of habit. We ordered the same things.
We switched chairs with my son because I didn’t want to be directly under the pin light. It would give me a headache. Edmund moved also across me because he too, didn’t want the light on his head. Makikita daw bumbunan nya.
My favorite dish in Hai Chix is their Butter Garlic Shrimp with chilis. It’s spicy but delicious.
The two guys split this Hainanese Chicken Rice…
It came with two bowls of rice and a cup of corn.
I think the rice was cooked in the steak’s drippings and fat.
Delicious. I ate it without any ulam.
The guyabano and basil sorbet satisfied my palette.
I got a teaspoon of mango sorbet but I didn’t like it at all.
My son said it’s not value for money. I like the guyabano better.
We were home by 9 pm.
I went down to the kitchen at 10 pm and found Stitch standing on this ceramic stool. My son placed him there for being so makulit daw. Stitch couldn’t even jump off a short stool. He started crying upon seeing me.
