Husband and I are waiting at the Delta Sky lounge, while Oyen and Nyke are looking for More green tea flavored Kitkat chocolates at the Duty Free shops at the Narita International Airport.
Our Scenic Japan tour ended today at the Asakusa Nakamise Shopping street and a heavy lunch at the Aeon Mall in Narita town just 15 minutes away from the airport. It’s very cloudy and raining all day but we still managed to buy some souvenirs.
The highlight of our tour is the visit to the magnificent Mt. Fuji even if we only reached its foot. Edmund’s favorite lunch is in an authentic Japanese restaurant somewhere in the rural Hakone.
We took a 30 minute Metro train ride from Ikebukuro to Ginza where we bought two pairs of legging pants from the big store of Uniqlo. We also made usyoso all the colors of Birkin bags, and ate delicious and “orig” tempura.
Last night’s dinner was a 55 minute wait just to eat allegedly the best ramen in town. Was it really? I’ll tell you more when I get home.
See you and happy new year.
kaya pala. 🙂
