On our first night in Prague, we passed by a doorway with a young Czech guy holding a menu book, inviting passersby to dine at the Charles Bridge restaurant beside the Vitava River.
The restaurant offers international food because they have a plate of burger with fries on display outside to entice hungry tourists.
We thought sige kain tayo dito. But we forgot about Kampa when we wandered farther away and found another equally enticing restaurant.
The next day after we visited the Infant Jesus of Prague church, we decided it would be great to dine right beside the Vitava River.
The young guy was not around when we arrived, maybe because it was too early for dinner. It was only 3:30 pm. Basta pagdating ng alas tres, gutom na agad kami.
We weren’t sure if this was the one. Medyo creepy.
As soon as we reached one floor down, wow, this would be a perfect setting for dining.
Two medium-sized boats passed by with several tourists. I would like to ride this boat next time. God-willing, if there’s a next time.
I don’t go to bars even when I was younger that’s why I am ignorant of the different kinds of drinks. Ano kaya iyon?
Green, hindi naman siguro yun pandan.
I ordered chicken bbq wings, which is very similar to the American Buffalo wings.
Kimberly’s order, beef with homemade bread. It’s very similar to our beef mechado.
Aileen ordered beef goulash in a bread bowl.
Kimberly paid for our meal, it was more or less euro 30.
The sight of beautiful white swans gracefully gliding on the water was like watching a movie. Ohh, now I want to have a pond and two swans. Why two only? Alam ko mahal yan sa atin, dalawa na lang, one male and one female. When they fall in love, they will multiply.
Lovely swans and very peaceful view. That green drink is absinthe. The slotted spoon holds a sugar cube. Cold water is slowly poured over the sugar cube. (When mixed it gets a little less green.) The ritual is so deliberate. Makes you feel like an artist or a poet of yesteryear. (Or so I thought when I used to indulge.)
Thank you Tania for educating me. LOL wala kasi sa Binangonan nyan.

Thank you Pam. A lot of people think Aileen is Oyen’s mom.
