We were hoping to reach Las Vegas before it gets dark but because of moderate to heavy traffic, we arrived at the hotel at 7 pm.
Checking in took a while because of the volume of incoming guests.
The hotel’s lobby was overflowing with people. Oh my, it was hard to walk in straight line. Last year we stayed at the Caesar’s Palace and it was also swarming with people. But Bellagio is a different story. Their lobby is a magnet for tourists. They take photos, look up, selfie here, selfie there. In Caesar’s, people move, they walk. Here, they stop, look and listen. This is more crowded and dense.
We were given a non-smoking room on the 12th floor of the Spa Tower. We didn’t want to leave the room anymore because it felt peaceful in there. Pagbaba sa lobby, parang palengke.
A desk is very important to me.
It’s both useful and functional.
I am never a fan of butt-shaped / Mickey Mouse ears / spectacles-look wash basins.
View from the room the following morning.
My son hurt his foot while walking on the carpet.
There was a toothpick imbedded in the carpet.
It bled a little. Lucky it was his sole that got pierced. If it’s his toe, that would do more damage.
We complained, the hotel staff came and asked if my son needed medical attention. Maliit lang naman. Parang takot na ako maglakad ng walang tsinelas. Remember several years ago, there were glass shards on the carpet of our hotel in Paris? Ang sakit nung naapakan ko, dumugo talaga. Yun medyo malaki yung sugat. Eh basag ba naman na crystal from the chandelier.
