Our chicken coop is made of bamboo slats. The construction is very crude but it serves its purpose — to keep the hens safe and secure while they are nesting. It also protects the chicks from harsh elements like wind and rain. It’s getting cooler at night till early morning and the shelter keeps them warm.
Our chickens are finally growing in number.
There’s a small section inside the chicken coop for the four ducklings. Edmund had a small pond made for their enjoyment. They are just so adorable.
This is just temporary, in a few months we’re hoping to construct a real pond where they can swim and play.
