For our last meal in Seoul, we unanimously agreed to have Korean barbeque near the hotel. There’s another restaurant adjacent to the one we ate at on our first night here. We’re hoping maybe this one would be better.
As we were surfing thru their menu, I didn’t find any chicken barbeque. According to the waiter, they only serve beef and seafood. The prices were also expensive. Although we were already seated, we left the restaurant and walked around the block looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant with chicken but didn’t find any. We crossed over to the commercial area where we always spent time every night. Since I wanted chicken, Oyen sought the help of Google and luckily the one highly recommended was steps away from where we were standing. Sobrang tsamba.
Yehey, chicken galbi.
The restaurant is spacious and full of young local diners. That means it must be good here.
We ordered chicken only and steamed rice.
I noticed the guy on the right. He was just looking at his Facebook and other people’s posts practically all throughout their meal. The woman naman was awkwardly trying to console herself by tinkering with her hair, her wallet, her bag, the bowls, etc. At one point, I caught the guy giggling at some video clips or photos. Nothing wrong with that, except that he was doing it at the wrong time. Not when he’s in front of food. Not when he’s in front of a girlfriend, wife, or with any companion. That’s rude. Very. Do not marry someone like that.

I was so happy we found this place. Delicious and cheap.
