December 4, 2018 Baguio
Edmund’s Luisita Golf teammate Chino Raymundo arrived in Baguio in the early morning of Sunday. He missed the golf practice which he actually didn’t need because he’s such an excellent golfer. Chino has been a club champion many times over.
He attended a wedding on Saturday in Makati.
Edmund said Chino was either ninong or abay. I hope not the groom. It was only after the reception ended at 10 pm that he started his trek to Baguio which only took him 5 hours.
I was surprised that he is now playing for the senior’s group. I really thought Chino is only 50 years old or not even. In golf pala, 55 is considered a senior. If he colors his graying hair, he would look like a 40-year-old.
Chino is the one wearing a gray and black jacket with a red diagonal line. Raffy Garcia who is standing beside him is the one feeling sick. Seated with Edmund are Luisita Golf team manager Jeric Hechanova and ex-pro golfer Dan Cruz. Jeric played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles basketball varsity team in his college days together with Bambi Kabigting (Oyen’s ninong sa binyag) and Paul Chuatico.
One of their teammates started having flu-like symptoms. He was looking for antibiotic so Edmund gave him a box of antibiotics. Chino offered his baon na Pei Pa Koa syrup. He said it’s effective based on his own experience. Minsan ubos na gamot na reseta ng doctor sa ubo, meron pa rin syang ubo.
Hi An, I also take Pei Pa Koa for sore throat and cough – very effective. 🙂
I buy a big bottle from 99 Ranch, I think it’s $7.00
Thanks!
