Our Christmas tree decors are mostly old and the new ones are cheap-looking. I just added them for volume and quantity.
I went to Macy’s last week and looked at what they have. Last year kasi they had nice ones but I found them expensive, like $10 each.
Ngayon hindi na $10, kundi, the nicer ones are from $18 – $23 EACH and all made in China. Sobrang mahal.
There are balls in less expensive stores pero hindi ko gaanong gusto.
When Edmund and I went to Marshalls in Pleasant Hill last Sunday night, they have a section on Christmas tree decors and their items are not baduy.
The inventory is not huge but they looked like they’ve been well chosen.
I wanted this Santa Claus night light but it’s 110 Volts.
My eyes popped when I saw these unique Christmas tree balls and they’re all Made in India.
I didn’t even think for a second that they could break in my maleta.
I cleaned their shelves and took dozens.
Price ranged from $3.99 to $4.99 to $5.99 for the bigger ones + 8.5% sales tax.
When Edmund saw my cart, he said “Bibilhin mo yan?”
A smile means yes.
The cashier was a Filipina. She was so distracted with the amount of balls I was getting.
Cashier—– “Wala ba sa atin nyan?”
Omb——— “Wala, hindi ganito”.
Omb——— “Meron akong nakita sa Rustan’s magaganda rin, pero mas mahal”.
Cashier—– “Sa SM wala ba nyan?”
She couldn’t focus on making sure she punched right. Nagka doble na nga ang punch nya. Her curiosity was keeping her distracted. She started asking “Saan ka nakatira sa atin? Anong trabaho mo?”
I have never seen this kind of designs and quality. I am happy I found them. I hope they reach my Christmas tree in good shape. Baka dumami.
Love it!
