I left Baguio on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Edmund stayed till after the awarding ceremony Friday morning.
A teammate of Edmund mentioned to him that the store at the Petron gas station near the Baguio fly over sells delicious minatamis na ube.
Edmund told me to swing by the Petron and check-out the chunky ube which according to his friend, is not sweet.
I found the Chunky ube bottles inside the cooler at the Petron convenience store.
I also bought 4 pieces of fresh-baked pande coco.
I bought two bottles of Ube. After half-hour my husband was calling and asking if masarap nga yung ube. Hindi ko pa natitikman, pagdating ko pa sa bahay.
Contrary to the pagong-paced travel going up to Baguio, our trip coming back to Manila was a lot faster.
We only hit a standstill approaching the NLEX toll gates.
It’s always a good feeling seeing vehicles on the road that have our stamps on them. Salamat po.
It took us a good hour from Balintawak to Ortigas Avenue.
I arrived home at around 4 pm. The first thing that I did was to open a bottle of chunky ube and see if it’s really chunky, delicious and not sweet so I could report the verdict to my husband.
Chunky and not sweet: check. Delicious: pwede na.
