di ko alam kung tatawa ako o maawa sa yo sa hirap na pinadama sa yo nung technician. hayaan mo na, once a year lang naman, for good health din naman eh.

I like how you write, it’s simple and easy for me to follow and understand.
You have a great sense of humor Ms. Annie. Despite your stature, you are humble and down to earth. Keep blogging. You lighten up my days!

Ha ha ha that’s funny. I read your blog every day.

Great family! Regards to sir Edmund. Though I did not have the chance to know him. I know he is a good and fine man, mam Annie.

Hi Annie
Many thanks for writing about this – I thought I was the only one struggling this kind of dilemma. Rico even told me once “cash mo na lang, next time” with a playful smile on his face. I feel frustrated at times because after all these years we have been married, plus those years that we were dating (all – nearly 3 decades) di ko pa rin makuha talaga. But I refuse to give him cash as I do not want to give up.
Please give my birthday greetings to Edmund. As always, enjoyed reading your blog, love your humbling encounter with the salesman!
Cheers, Rissa

same thing happened to my hb and I. We were in our early 20s then on our honeymoon. We went inside the LV store in Monaco and planned to buy bags for our mothers, my hb took a liking to the epi line which was more expensive than the monogrammed ones, and asked to see a particular bag. The old SA refused, adding we could not afford it. My hb showed credit card and cash and asked “these are not enough?” So grudgingly she showed us the bag and hb bought it. I think it was really racial discrimination as in against our race, and not so much that they think we could not afford it. Parang naiinis pa sila na our race could afford it and they have to serve us.

Miss Annie, you are so pretty and still so slim! you don’t look your age and most importantly, you look wonderfully natural and not weird like the others who do something to their faces.

Hi Ms. Annie,
I think you were chosen as one of the Philippines’ most fabulous because they saw in you what we your readers see. A fabulous lady who has aged gracefully and has accomplished a lot in life yet remains simple and humble. Like most of us say, you are our life peg. I would love to see you photographed just the way you are, no photoshop of any sort, not over accessorized. I wish for people to see your true and natural beauty (inside and out).
