Despite many companies cancelling their Christmas parties due to Yolanda, our company went ahead with our first joint Christmas party.
To begin with, our parties had always been simple, never extravagant. This is a once a year get-together for our staff so we didn’t want to cancel it. We’ve also fully paid Greenmeadows Homeowners Association for the rental of their clubhouse. And had also paid 60% to the caterer.
We started with a Holy Mass.
We had sufficient food. The kare-kare was very good.
Someone donated 2 medium-sized lechon.
We can’t simply have a party without sorbetes
for obvious reasons. Huling-huli kung sino ang mahilig.

Every party, we discover our employees’ talents and personal interests. Gaya nito, pagnagkikita kami sa office, good morning mam ang aming interaction. Magaling pala siyang kumanta, ayaw na ngang bitawan yung microphone. Feel na feel nya na meron syang concert, captive audience pa nya kami.

Ford Edsa won the grand prize at the Ford Group Philippine’s Sports Olympics Award, Dance or Cheering Squad category. Ford Cainta won in tennis. We also won in basketball, madami pa, halos grand slam.
We had a lot of raffle prizes pero hindi naman too expensive. Some suppliers also donated prizes. As a policy, we do not solicit from suppliers. But, we do not turn down their gifts. All these were raffled off.
Bong Francisco received the “Perfect Attendance Award”. I think he wins every year.

Ford Cainta showed their dominance in dancing. After the program, I asked them how much time they spent practicing. Every day daw but they assured me, after office hours (laughs). I should spend more time in Cainta, I’d like to join in the dancing para ma-exercise ako.
