Company Party 2014

We rented the Greenmeadows Subdivision’s clubhouse for our Christmas Party last year. We needed a bigger space because it was the first time we’re having a joint party. We usually held separate gathering for each group.

There were many restrictions. Bawal ito, bawal iyon. Instead of starting at 6 pm, the mass started at almost 8 pm. The party started at 9 pm and we had to wind up around 11 pm kasi our time was only up to 11. Dali dali na kaming nagligpit.

This year, we decided to just hold the party in the Makati Ford showroom. We fit naman. We saved P50,000 pa from the venue rental. All of us were more relaxed and at ease. No 4 hour restriction. We started before 6 pm and ended around 11 pm. The only downside was our showroom needed general cleaning immediately after the party so that it would be spic and span the next morning, ready for customers.

Ford EDSA won again the cheering squad competition at the annual Ford Olympics.

Yen didn’t like my dress it’s so frumpy daw. I didn’t like it either pero wala naman akong maisuot na. That morning, I ransacked my cabinet for new stuff (haven’t worn) but bought long time ago. I found this pure silk silver dress. I bought it from a boutique in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) for US$150, mahal sya pero kasi daw pure silk. That time, it was the only size left, medium, but was so big on me because I was only a size small that time. Today, I am a size Large and the dress is still loose.

When you ask Ford Cainta to present a number they don’t give a number. They present numbers. Their dance sequence is nonstop and full of energy.

Ibang-iba na ngayon ang dance moves, malayong-malayo nung panahon ko. Ngayon puro pagiling-giling, palambutan ng puson, may halong sensualidad sa sayaw. Kahit sayaw ng lalaki pang macho dancers kaya maraming bumabaligtad ang gender.

The balloon popping contest had me laughing non-stop.

I asked him if he’s from Ford Cainta, he answered “dito po mam sa Makati”. I don’t remember all their names and faces. He’s new daw in the sales department.

Manghang mangha si Edmund kasi ang gaganda pala daw ng employees namin pag naka ayos. Meron pa silang mga kinuhang hair and makeup artists bawat department.

We will try a different caterer for next year.

Every single one including security guards received a ham. Many got 2, 3 or even 4 gifts.

Merry Christmas to all our kasambaho (kasama sa trabaho). Thank you to all those who remain dedicated and trustworthy. Maraming salamat sa inyong malasakit. Sana maging masaya at masagana ang 2015 at lahat pa ng susunod na mga taon para tayo lahat ay umunlad at makatulong rin sa kapwa.
