Con Te Partiro - Oh My Buhay

Lately I’ve been feeling the urge to listen to music. Siguro kasi tense ako lagi. This is no big deal to others who regularly listen to music. But not me. When I am on the rode, I don’t like to listen to the radio or cd. When I am at home, the stereo is always off.

But lately, when I am in the bathroom, I go to ohmybuhay site and search Charice’s Note to God, eh ang hirap naman kasi my connection drops.

Yesterday afternoon, to avoid EDSA traffic, we took the Mandaluyong route from Makati, tamang-tama, I swung by Greenhills before going home. I was actually not feeling well but I didn’t want to go home yet because it’s friday night, I always end up being alone at home.

I went to Virra Mall, bought Dip n Dots ice cream and looked at kitchen chairs.

I went to the 3rd floor and asked the computer guy to upload the movie “Letters to Juliet” and “Under the Tuscan Sun” to my Ipad. Eh wala naman pala sya nun. He wanted to upload Frozen, Ninja Turtles and marami daw syang drama.

Tapos I asked him to upload some music to my Iphone,

Yung mga gusto ko wala naman sya. Plus I don’t know the titles of the songs that I like, ang labo ko daw. Sya nga din malabo. I told him Opera. Ano daw yun. Destiny Child ba daw. Ang layo naman. Sabi ko si Sarah Brightman. si Beyonce ang ipinakinig sa akin. I paid him P200 just the same.

Pag-uwi ko, I deleted most of the songs he uploaded kasi never heard ko. I retained Andrea Bocelli’s Con te Partiro and Josh Groban’s Por Ti Sere. I first heard Con te Partiro in Italy while riding on the mini train to the Leaning Tower of Pisa grounds 11 years ago. Con Te Partiro is an Italian song which literally means “With you, I will leave”. The popular interpretation is Time to Say Goodbye.

I was looking for a Tagalog song yung kinakanta sa simbahan, I don’t know the title. He asked me to sing it. I did, wala naman sa tono kaya hindi namin malaman kung ano yun. The guy frowned at me.
