Condolence to the Aralar’s

Bong found out last friday that his father Atty. Reynaldo Aralar, passed away last Thursday after a lingering illness. He died peacefully in his sleep.

Bong was informed of his father’s passing on Saturday.

Since they couldn’t come home soon enough for his father’s burial tomorrow, Aileen asked me to send flowers. So yesterday at around noon, I went to Atty. Aralar’s house in Cubao baka kako dun ang burol. Walang tao. I couldn’t leave the flowers at their doorsteps. We asked the neighbors where the burial is, St. Peter daw, but no one knows where in particular.

I was busy yesterday. I messaged Aileen that I couldn’t go back, but I would go on Sunday (today).

I went to the burial tonight. It’s at St. Peter’s in Quezon Avenue. I left our house at 6:30 pm. I brought J. Co. pops, the little doughnuts. I think those are better than flowers, at least they could be served to people at the wake.

I didn’t want to stay long. I gave my driver money for dinner. I told him to eat fast then text me when he’s done so we could go.

Going to a wake is always difficult. It’s not like going to a gathering to celebrate something happy. Eto malungkot.

There’s a Ministop in the complex. Meron ding nagkakaraoke sa kabilang burol. Dito sa kanila masaya. Siguro yung namntay baka mahilig magkaraoke.
