We were back at Dra. Jocelyn Regalado’s clinic on the ground floor of Cardinal Santos Hospital in Greenhills on Thursday morning for the doctor to check if Oyen’s cornea has started to heal.
For the next 6 weeks, Yen has to put two kinds of eye drops that will hopefully help attach her cornea back and fully heal the laceration.
The horizontal line is no longer visible. There is a big chance of recurrence according to the doctor if Yen forgets to put the eye drops and if she doesn’t take care of her eye.
Dra. Regalado advised her to bring five bottles of Fuzion when Yen travels. She’s attending a wedding in snow so it’s best that she lubricates her eyes frequently to protect them.
