The world is caught by surprise by China’s latest trillion dollar export.
We are all in panic.
One person visits a huge mall before he is found positive with coronavirus triggers that mall being avoided by everyone.
In the Philippines, thousands have tuberculosis and hepatitis yet they don’t even know. These carriers contaminate our surroundings. TB and hepatitis are highly contagious. We should also be wary about the high risks of contracting these diseases. We don’t monitor them as much as the attention given to coronavirus because coronavirus is novel, it’s new, and we don’t yet know how it behaves, how it is transmitted, its characteristics and cure. The best thing to do, whether there’s coronavirus or none, is to be always conscious of our personal cleanliness, hygiene. I myself is a hand washer. I wash my hands frequently even before the outbreak of this virus. I hate touching public toilet door knobs, flush levers and even faucets. I require my maids not to talk in front of our food, while they’re preparing, cooking, serving our food.
When I get home, I take-off my clothes right away and place all of them in the hamper, or straight to the laundry, just in case there are bacteria or viruses that landed on my clothes while I was outside.
There is a real danger to our health. Medicines would for sure be invented but we have to wait. At this point all we could do is to strengthen our body resistance by getting enough good night sleep, drinking plenty of fluids, Vitamin C, don’t skip meals. No more beso-beso, shaking hands, not even elbow or toe to toe. Just nod.
A global financial crisis may happen soon if the people don’t see any progress in containing the spread. An economic downturn in America bigger than the 2008 financial crisis could happen if Americans over react, stop their lives, report only the number of afflicted and disregard those who have recovered fully.
