June 16, 2018
We arrived in Lisbon, Portugal before 11 am. We would be here from June 16 to June 23 and our residence would be the Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel located at Lorgo de Corpo Santo.
The hotel has a small lobby but nicely appointed.
I overheard a woman sitting in one of the couches in the lobby saying she accidentally left her wallet inside a cab. In half hour the taxi driver came back to the hotel and gave back her wallet. Whew!
There’s a complimentary snacks and beverage counter that’s filled with marshmallow, dates, etc. the whole day and night.
Cynthia Nakpil of Asia Travel was the one who chose this hotel for the official FPG tour which was only for four nights. Since we would be staying for 7 nights, we’re paying for the three extra nights plus extra Euro 143 (if I remember it right) per night for Oyen. FPG sponsored two rooms for 4 px but I gave the other room to my sister and Bong that’s why Oyen would be staying with Edmund and I. There were also additional charges for the fifth person because our incentive trip only covered for 4 persons.
We were given the key to room 216.
The room is nice and has modern amenities.
The shower has lights and sound, parang sa bar.
room 213 is a little tight for 3 people. A twin bed was set up for Oyen.
A lot of people lose their money, credit cards, sometimes even their passports while they travel. To prevent or minimize the chances, the first thing you do after checking in is to keep your valuables inside the room safe. Valuables mean: passport / travel document, extra cash, extra credit cards, extra jewelries. Do not bring all your cash with you outside, do not put all your money in one wallet with all your credit cards. Just bring one or two credit cards. Leave the rest inside the vault. You don’t need that many cards or too many cash. Do not bring your jewelry box when traveling.
Twenty four long hours from the time we left our house in Manila till we reached the hotel. Exhausted!
