At last, after a long day of traveling and walking under the searing sun, we reached our residence for three nights, the Costa Grand Resort and Spa. This five-star hotel just newly opened less than a year ago.

This is a beautiful seaside resort, but again, I couldn’t explore the surroundings because of the debilitating heat. Every day I get a headache.
Our luggage was unloaded from the bus and would be brought to our respective rooms. Willy Tee Ten lost their big squarish Rimowa luggage. They last saw it being unloaded but when we reached the lobby, it disappeared. Tey saw it standing outside in the parking lot beside a motorcycle. Buti hindi nawala.
The black sandy beach of Kamari
We have a nice and comfortable room #312, but it’s far from the main building. This is very good for honeymooners.
Modern style
I wanted to nap but we were only given an hour to rest, then off to dinner. Baka maalangan ang tulog ko.

We always wanted to visit Santorini.I get discouraged since I read it is endless steps and not wheelchair accessible. Is it possible for a person in a wheelchair to vacation in Santorini?See all the sights?Thank you.
You look extra pretty in Greece and Portugal.
Hi Vito,
Santorini is all steps, steep uneven stairs, up and down, uneven surfaces, cobbled stones, narrow and not straight pathways, very narrow alleys. Hard to walk for me so much more for those in need of special assistance.
Edmund and I walk in a single file because of too many tourists.
Pushing a wheelchair would be difficult because the wheels would not roll on uneven and sometimes sharp cobbled stones. A person with a disability would have a bumpy ride. It can be done but the disabled persons would need more assistance than usual. At least two people to carry the wheelchair and the person.
Buses are also tight. You would need to rent your own spacious van.
Riding the boat was a challenge for me. You have to drag the luggage up the boat and down. Then hurriedly climb the stairs to go to your seats. With someone in a wheelchair— you need someone to drag the luggage and bags, and someone to push the wheelchair. I don’t know if the boat has an elevator because all of us climbed the iron stairs.
I saw a guy in a wheelchair but he was being carried down some rocky steps by two big men.
Pretty—- oh thank you.
We always wanted to vacation in Santorini but we have a family member that is totally dependent on a wheelchair.I keep reading that Santorini is not wheelchair accessible. Is it possible to vacation in Santorini with a wheelchair and stay in Oia?Thank you for your valuable opinion.
You looked gorgeous in Greece and Portugal.
Hi Vito, I hope you don’t mind if I say something. I think there is always God’s glory in overcomed challenge and He will be pleased coz you show to humans it can be done. You just need some extra hand which maybe you can hire from Greece and your family will be able to enjoy Santorini.
