(Malou at the spa where we had foot reflexology)
After an hour of foot relaxation massage, I brought Malou to Newport Mall at Resorts World because she hasn’t been there.
(We were both too cautious to even go inside the casino area.)
I so liked the bakeshop’s overall interior design and color scheme that’s why I chose their shop as my background.
I looked haggard na kasi I’ve been out the whole day, starting from Cainta and spending two hours under the extreme heat while watching the Amazing Challenge).
Some people are asking where I get my stuff, so please bear with me, here’s what they are:
I was wearing t-shirt (from Marshalls $10), skirt (from H&M HK$279), bag (Coach store in Manhattan US$440+ tax)
and my slippers (UGG on the ground floor of Hyatt Hotel in Honolulu $120). The Uggs are so sulit, I hesitated buying it at first because of the price but it turned out to be the best tsinelas I’ve ever had. I bought it two years ago and It now looks ugly, dirty and worn out.
There’s an on-going bazaar, same stuff we see in all the bazaars
I was only wearing tsinelas because I thought I would just watch the Ford’s amazing race.
This girl has nice shoes, I cannot wear something like that or else I would trip and break my brittle bones.
I think people are actually shopping at Newport Mall
Our auxilliary kitchen is overdue for renovation kasi inanay. Kopayin ko kaya itong ceiling nila
I hang my baby pink Coach tote bag at the toilet door, this is actually a bad idea. So many have lost their handbags this way, including Angie Bautista- Mehra when she visited the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco a few years ago. While peeing, never look at your prekprek, stay glued on your bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your prek will forever remain loyal and will never leave your body, but your handbag, blink and thy will be gone.
Malou and I had Filipino food for lunch, I don’t know why we ended up in another Filipino restaurant for dinner.
I like sorbetes better than the more expensive ice cream.
We ordered Seafood Paella. I still remember during our Paella class at Enderun, the chef said that the rice grain must be short because this would have a softer texture when cooked. Dapat medyo sticky.
I know when a restaurant is at least a notch higher than the hundreds around, when I couldn’t help but say “wow” on my first bite. My stomach was full but there was no Wow epek.
thanks annie for the foot spa massage and for the dinner.. masarap and busog n busog din ako. At natuloy din tau s Resorts World Hotel, nag enjoy talaga ako… thanks again…:)
you’re welcome

I love ‘halo-halo’, too..It’s my favorite dessert! ( The top Halo Halo brands in the Philippines : Razon’s, Chow King, Peninsula Manila, Icebergs, Milky Way, Zoey Cafe, Dear Manok, Red Bean, Kabigting & Aling Taleng’s Halo Halo since 1933 ). Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!
Riroy bilib naman ako sayo alam mo lahat. I don’t like Manila Peninsula’s halo-halo, they are good in presentation and of course five star ambiance but theirs is definitely lacking in real halo-halo goodness. I have only tried Razon’s, Chowking, and Milky Way. They’re all good.
