Crouching Tiger Chinese Cuisine

As promised by Edmund to Kay, we’re going to have a decent meal after our tour of Filoli Gardens.

We asked them to choose which restaurant, and Chinese food won over Italian’s pasta and pizza.

Kimberly found the Crouching Tiger restaurant on Google and it’s conveniently located in Redwood City, just a few minutes away from Filoli.

I was no longer feeling well on our way to the restaurant. Nagha-hot flashes yata ako. O sumisingaw lang talaga yung init. It was cold in the car pero I was still feeling uneasy.

We ordered chicken corn soup, scallion pancake, sweet and sour pork, walnut prawns seafood pan fried noodles, yang chow fried rice.

I only ate the crispy noodles and the soup. All of them said the other dishes were equally good.

Kay——“I want fried noodles”.
Omb——“I already ordered crispy noodles”.
Kay——“Tita Annie knows what I like”.

Notice I have less photos. I started having migraine while waiting for our food. I went to their restroom and splashed water on my face, shoulders, chest, arms, feet, nape, gusto ko na ngang maligo duon, init na init talaga ako. I took half a tablet of Biogesic and a tiny piece of Bonamine.

Despite my migraine, I enjoyed our early supper together. The food was delicious and relatively inexpensive (Bong paid), service was fast, waiters were courteous. Siguro kaya meron silang award- Winner of 2014 Open Table, Diner’s Choice.

Kimberly made the right choice.

  1. Lately I am having bad migraine attacks too, malipasan lang ng gutom, parang binibiyak na ulo ko sa sakit, maski kumain na ako, at uminom ng 2 biogesic, the migraine stays, until sumuka ako then i’ll feel better. One time andito nanay ko pinahiran nya ng white flower temples ko then konting hilot. Wow guminhawa pakiramdam ko. From then on I do that, instant relief. Nde lang maganda amoy flower tapos nasa opis ako. Hehe

  2. I never leave home without white flower OR vicks, or Kotinco, or peppermint rub, or anything similar for my migraine. They really help.

  3. The food u ordered looks yummy.. 🙂 too bad u had migraine attacks, Ms Annie.. 🙂 baka naman dehydrated ka lang coz of the hot climate… Kaya u should always bring ice-cold bottled water every time u go out on a hot summer day 🙂 buti na lang po hindi ka hypertensive..otherwise, mas mahihirapan ka lumabas pag mainit ang panahon.. Take care and God bless u always… 🙂
