Julienne booked us a room at the Smallville Hotel which she found on line. However, my brother in law suggested staying at the Days Hotel instead because according to him the Smallville area is a party place and could be noisy in there.
I was a little worried that the Days Hotel would not be good enough. When we reached the building, the entrance was beside a Chowking outlet and on the 4th floor of Iloilo Supermarket.
But the minute the elevator opened on the 4th floor, I felt relieved that the lobby is decent and the place is quiet despite the fact that the hotels shares the building with a mini mall.
We got two rooms, 568 & 569. Each room has two double beds that’s large enough for two people. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Hindi ako namahay.
Days Hotel is not a “Ritz” but is certainly a good value for money. We paid P3,500 per room per night which included daily buffet breakfasts.
They have a fitness center and a spa on the 4th floor next to the front desk.
I don’t mind staying here again next time.
The toilet and bath is spacious
Our rooms are on the 5th floor and somewhere infront. We have a good view of the city.
