To answer your question if I were in your shoes—
My husband and I were ordinary car owners before we became car dealers. Our Toyota Lite Ace broke down and we brought it to the dealer. I waited for 2 weeks, when they called and told us how much we would pay, we panicked because we did not have the money, all P14,000+ and that was more than 20 years ago.
It took us several weeks and several calls from the dealer before we were able to come up with the amount to retrieve our vehicle.
No, we did not accuse them of anything. No, I did not conclude that they were probably not doing their jobs. No I did not threaten to talk to my lawyer. No, I did not even think to call Toyota Motor Company to elevate my case. No, I did not entertain the thought whether Toyota was a bad car nor even asked myself why I bought this car that has broken down several times. I just trusted the dealer, or maybe that’s just me.
YES, I TOOK A CAB WHILE THE VAN WAS WITH THEM, because that’s all that we had. Yes, I was the only one among all the parents that was riding in a dilapidated taxi while picking up my little daughter from nursery. Yes, I was very tired and hungry. Yes, I fell off the taxi because the driver was careless, he moved the vehicle while I was getting off. Yes, that all happened because the Toyota Lite Ace broke down.
I do not want to engage in a series of arguments with you. Believe it or not we just try our best to do our jobs.

I attended a training a couple of weeks agoabout conflict resolution and I learned from that training that people get angry because they have unmeet needs. The needs sometimes or most of the times are something to do with our personal problems and it has nothing to do with the car and most of all it has nothing to do with you. They just used the situation to remove the anger or it is their way of showing that they have unmeet needs.
Hope your Ok and don’t mind them. I know that you are a kind person even though we never met, I know also na you take it even though hindi naman dapat. Its because thats your perosonality you have soft heart that can easily get effected by the situation, you emotion shows how good person you are.
