From Obidos we drove for a few minutes to reach the Praia da Nazaré beach. By this time the temperature was even hotter at 36 degrees Centigrade.
The van dropped us off at Praca Sousa Oliveira and we walked for some 80 meters to the restaurant located on the ground floor of Mar Bravo Hotel.
Restaurant Mar Bravo has a nice view of the commercial street, the sea and cliffs.
We were the first group to arrive at the restaurant. Afterwards, a busload of tourists came to have lunch too.
Cynthia Nakpil pre-ordered all our food. We were served Atlantic gourmet cuisine. As a starter we had Sopas de Mariscos.
My favorite among the dishes was the Quarteto de Sardinhas Assadas served with sliced tomato salsa. The sardines were fresh and so flavorful.
I could eat grilled fresh sardines everyday and not get tired of it.
I just took photos of the other dishes but I only ate the sardines.
Black Pork Tenderloin with Clams
Chicken Breast Mar Bravo Style
Seeing how much I enjoyed the grilled sardines, Cynthia Nakpil of Asia International Travel ordered some more of the sardines. Kain uli.
I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I had no shame eating a dozen sardines with my bare hands. Cynthia did a good job in choosing this restaurant.

The dessert was also good.

It was so glary. The heat felt like 40 degrees.
Right after lunch we walked straight to the bus. My family was the last to board because we took photos. You can’t just go to a place and not take photos.
