We arrived at the Multinational Center at 1:20 pm, a little too early for our 2 pm appointment at the Belgium Embassy. There’s a Caffe Bene on the ground floor of the building so Edmund and I went in for a quick lunch and coffee.
The desserts were tempting. My husband asked what I wanted. I liked their strawberry waffle which I first discovered in Manhattan. But the version here in Manila is different. The strawberry sauce makes a big difference.
He saw the giant choco banana honey bread, we’ll share daw. When I said I didn’t like, he didn’t order it. Wala syang ka-share, it looked huge.
We ordered salmon sandwiches. Lacked sex appeal (hahehihohu).
After the sandwiches, he ordered coffee and banana chocolate pie because he was still hungry. I didn’t know he consumes four big cups of coffee each day. I suggested that he tries to gradually reduce it to 2 or reduce the size of the cup. Do they have a mini or tikim size? I do not believe that he should drastically cut his coffee intake. He enjoys drinking coffee, and Starbucks profit depend on Edmund’s consumption. Dapat lang moderation. Na-addict na kasi sya.
Hi Boss An, they have short size. Kung maka-apat sya equivalent to two tall size. Kaso baka mabitin si Boss. Marasap talaga po magkape. Hirap iwasan.
Hi Gwen, Na addict na daw sya.
